Why Did We Start Dinner Dialogues?
Ever been to a networking event that felt like a waste of time? We have. It's discouraging trying to connect with others you have nothing in common with. We wanted to go to a event where we could meet high quality people in a relaxed environment, eat great food, and learn something new. We couldn’t find an event like this, so we created it.
What’s Different About Our Events?
We started Dinner Dialogues to create a community unlike like any other networking event or Meetup. The premise? Bring diverse, growth-minded individuals together and supply them with an environment to connect easily.
Our slogan? It took a while (shout out to Raj for the help). We had one that was rock solid, did a Google search, and discovered it was copyrighted. Oh well. We decided to keep it simple: Eat. Learn. Connect.
Who Runs Dinner Dialogues?
Jordan Carroll, Co-Founder and Leader of Company Mission & Events
Jordan spent years in complex technology sales at IBM prior to founding Dinner Dialogues. He is passionate about serving the community as a volunteer, guest lecturing at his alma mater (CSU Chico State), and leading multiple committee boards. He challenges himself to get out of his comfort zone with anything from skydiving, stand-up comedy, and running the Tough Mudder. Currently, Jordan is VP of Customer Engagement at Kindred PR, a full-service marketing firm in Portland. Jordan founded Dinner Dialogues to create an environment where his friends and network could have more intentional conversations about self-improvement with like-minded individuals. His responsibility is to ensure the company stays true to its mission and executes valuable events for its members.
Jason Bay, Co-Founder and Leader of Marketing & Operations
Jason has nearly a decade of experience as an entrepreneur running multiple businesses. At 19, he ran his first six-figure business painting houses to make money for college and has started six businesses since then. He is the owner at JasonBay.com where he helps small business owners create sustainable revenue growth in their service-based company. As the Leader of Marketing and Operations for Dinner Dialogues, he is responsible for marketing communications, strategy, and day-to-day business operations.
